attach rear rack and trailer

Hello!
I'm not sure if I should post this here or on "family cycling" but here it goes.
Me and my husband are planning to go camping with 3 children on our bikes. So here's the arrangement we're thinking:husband: double trailer and rear rack with panniers; me: baby rear seat and single wheel cargo trailer.

Now the problem is, my bike is a 16" frame and the baby seat (it's an okbaby) sits too close to the mudguard, so I need to change for one that is rack mounted instead. Would we be able to attach a rear rack and a trailer onto the back wheel? Does it depends on the bikes or wheel?

Any input would be appreciated or if you know of somewhere I could contact?

Unfortunately the price is way out of our budget, but the one I was thinking to buy, apparently, is the budget version of it.
The other day i was passing by a nearby cycle shop and i went in to ask this same question, and the gentleman said to take a picture of the trailer and he would let me know for sure.

Two thoughts....

1. Front racks would be cheaper than the other options
2. Buy an "economy trailer" such as the Edinburgh bicycle Cooperative version of the BOB, or the Phillips Mule (c £100)

I was thinking about the Skiiddii single wheel. I can't find the Edinburgh bicycle Cooperative version for sale, only spare parts. Phillips mule is a bit bigger than what I think I can manage.

I don't have a quick release wheel, would that be a problem? I suppose it will be more of an inconvenience, but could it be done? And how hard/cost to install a quick release wheel on my bike (claud butler boulevard)?

Having a look at the Skiiddii trailer advert they say on the instruction sheet mentions “two special nuts to replace that you can buy”, but I could not find any myself.

I think if you can find the said “nuts” it would be cheaper than changing the back wheel.

I think that the "nuts" you were referring to are the same ones that this ebay seller sends with the trailer.

Today my husband went down to our local bike shop and he was advised to buy a trailer that has a different attachment to the wheel, like this one, mainly because the gentlemen there (from whom we bought my bike) said that it would be a struggle to fit it because of the gears.

So, we're close to a decision, and we might go for that advise.

Hopefully, in two weeks we will be able to load 3 children plus a cargo in our bikes and head to Skye (with the help of Scotrail service too!)
