Am I to assume you only wear that one day or evening a week? What a waste!

Biggleswade is clearly more fun than it used to be...

What does require your costume?

Gee, here I thought it might be scaling the walls of multi-storey buildings on the bat rope, reassuring the good citizens of Biggleswade, who open up their windows to engage you in conversation, that all is well, you have everything in hand. Why do I feel I'll disappoint you if I don't reply: "jumping from roof to roof"?

Gee, here I thought it might be scaling the walls of multi-storey buildings on the bat rope, reassuring the good citizens of Biggleswade, who open up their windows to engage you in conversation, that all is well, you have everything in hand.

I recall one episode on the campy old TV show where, after scaling the outside of some apartment block via the Bat Rope, the Dynamic Duo find themselves mingling at a cocktail party on the top floor and Batman telling Robin, sotto voce, that they must tread carefully, they didn't want to be conspicuous. I can still recall my father becoming unglued with laughter and me wondering what was so funny; it sounded like perfectly sound advice to my nine year old ears.

Much to my relief he returned to his dark roots thanks to people like Frank Miller (The Dark Knight), Alan Moore (Arkham Asylum) etc. (I'm not even going to start with Batwoman..
)Yes, I like the darker Batman much better, although the old TV series has given me many a laugh in retrospect.
(there are no multi-storey buildings in Biggleswade..)
Poor Batman has suffered major abuse and humiliation for many years, hitting his all time low with this ridiculous tv series during the -late- 60's..Much to my relief he returned to his dark roots thanks to people like Frank Miller (The Dark Knight), Alan Moore (Arkham Asylum) etc. (I'm not even going to start with Batwoman..
