What if your bike is mouldy?

However, he adds: “If you can smell the fire you are breathing in smoke, which is a bad thing. There are certain things which generate more smoke: wet wood is worse than dry wood; plastic is awful because it generates all sorts of horrible complex derivatives of carbon which are quite carcinogenic.”

So when as kid I was put in charge of lighting the open fire in the farmhouse: newspaper, kindling, coal, but my Dad's top tip was to add a roll of used plastic haybale twine, between the kindling and coal!

I got mould growing in my car, so possibly the worst of all?

Some years ago we had a bad storm. It partially lifted the corrugated roof on my garage and a lot of rain got in. A week or two later I went to drive the car. I'd left the car window open on the night of the storm. The passenger seat (by the open window) was a snow white horror show of mould. It was like something out of The Last Of Us.

(We got the train instead)

Sometimes I like to cycle through Mold. Is that ok ?

Not worth the risk - stop for coffee and cake while there just in case
