trundle slowly in to work wearing whatever, and all you need to do is change in to the suit that's hanging up in the office. You can then ride home at warp 5

How long have you been cycling to work and how far is it ?

Couple of years now. Previously my job was on the road so car was the only option, now I'm office based but work at two locations 3 and 8 miles from home with a 50/50 time split between the sites.

The three mile ride is no issue but the eight mile one is almost all uphill.

I take all my work clothes on a Saturday and drop them off in my locker.
I keep all my towel and toiletries in the shower at work. As I work near the city centre me and the wife go shopping near where I work so we can drop the clothes off.
As I am on a parking rota but cycle I give my parking away to colleagues, who on friday take all my laundry home as they live near me and drop it off.

It took me a few months to get it all sorted and running like clock work, makes you become a very organised person. I leave shoes at work, in a locker and a seperate coat etc.

You forget something now and again, but you only do it once !

Prior to this I left my shoes at work along with trousers, carried a small ruck sack, in it was one shirt and 1 pants and 1 socks. Left all my ties at work, until I devised the above method.

Ok cool just wondering as I know when I 1st stared I needed a shower at the end but 1 year later I found that I didn't sweat as much as the start and luckily my last 2 miles are flat so I can chill out a bit.

I cycle 5 miles to work & the last mile is uphill. I found a pannier stopped my back getting sweaty & use baby wipes when I get to work.

I change everything apart from boxers & socks when I get to work & don't have the luxury of showers. I do have spare items of clothing in my desk drawer just in case.

That is the best thinking.

An old saying from a past job was "don't rush TO work, rush home maybe, but what kind of fool rushes TO work?"
