Bad luck there fella - hopefully you can do 30 minute blasts to keep things ticking over. Is it a degenerative issue ?

Let someone else have a go if they fancy a lovely 30 year old large Raleigh 531 Reynolds frame - need to be tall though, what was it - 25"

I'd go along with the idea of seeking 2nd, 3rd, 4th...etc, opinions, you never know. Try to keep positive, the mind can be a great healer. Even with your limited mental stature it could be a help!!!
Seriously, don't give up, there's always an option.

I have never quit anything and don't intend on starting now. I have been visiting Osteopaths, sports injury physio's and chiro's on and off for the last 10 years, the issue usually goes away for 18 months or so after four or five treatment sessions, but it has been around 3 months of near constant pain (the osteopath has actually given me the last 2 sessions free as he can't fix it), I have been riding through it but gotten to the point where i can't any more. It is worsening regardless of treatments so an op on lower back disc/vertebrae is the only way forward apparently.
