Waiting for the turbo to kick in...
Location
Wiltshire
So, until April last year I had gotten into this cycling lark, started to cover some decent distances and gone on a couple of small tours.

But, then came the monsoon like rain and I became a bit of a princess about getting cold and wet and it fecked the regularity of the training.

= bike in garage me on sofa.

To cut a long story short, the mrs made a few comments that I may have, ahem, wintered a little too well this year and that I should get a turbo for the winter days when I am too much of a tart to go out.

Fecking genius, and I did not realise how much I had missed it in the past 9 months, even on a turbo in the dining room, almost like the novelty of starting out again.

Have even been toying with the idea of a bit more touring and an audax this year.

You never know, I might even go outside one day...

OK. But be very careful. It can get a bit damp out there you know:biggrin:.
Don't toy with the idea. Just get the bike out and go. I bet you'll love it.:wahhey:
All the best.

Glad you're back on the bike; I find it liberating even if it's just a week that the weather has forced me indoors.

Sure you'll be back knocking off the miles on the road in no time.
