my neighbours back garden is like santas groto, stupid flashy lights that they leave on all night! on one of those stupid automated settings that flashes comes right in my bedroom window despite blinds being shut, xmas can fark aff

You chose to be self employed though . You can't say that it's not a known either. So you factor that in . Always used to set aside a percentage for rest of months to cover the 4 weeks ( 2 either side) at Christmas .

You are bang on correct there, it does not mean I have to like it. Also when I went self employed all those moons ago I had no choice, it was the only way I could find to support my wife and child, I was 19 at the time.

Christmas food with best before dates way BEFORE Christmas. Just an excuse for gluttony from early November. And then the supermaket queues in Christmas week with trollies heaving with yet more goodies to celebrate the New Year. No wonder we have an obesity epidemic. :angry:
