I've got tickets to see an 82 year old Frankie Valli in Leeds next year. I don't think he will be hitting the high notes like he used to do.
Was that the line up with Bruce Foxton ?
Completely lost track on that....Just checked, Bruce was with SLF from the mid 80s for 15 years , he joined up with Rick Buckler to form From the Jam in 2007.Foxton plays in From The Jam. Saw them this summer and I though they would be rubbish but they were very good
Nothing wrong with this if played very loud.
Talking of Ulster, The Undertones are doing the rounds, but surely without Feargal Sharkey they aren't the Undertones, his voice was the hook.Alternative Ulster ?
Isn't this often described as being the worst ever Super Bowl performance

Yep , I wonder if it is even the original line up .
I went to one of those 80s rewind festivals. Big lineup, inevitably some bands can still really do it (such as, amazingly, Adam and the Ants) but some really can't and should give it up
Stand up........Boomtown Rats
Saw them a couple of months ago and they were good but not great, stand out looking after number one thoughIMHO the Boomtown Rats should have given up before they even started.
saw them a year or so ago. most disapointed they didnt play Joeys on the Street again, but it was a good eveningSaw them a couple of months ago and they were good but not great, stand out looking after number one though
they were great back in the day, but without Feargal, no thanks..Talking of Ulster, The Undertones are doing the rounds, but surely without Feargal Sharkey they aren't the Undertones, his voice was the hook.
