I’ve heard that loads of dentists from Surrey have exchanged their golf clubs for Pinarello Dogmas. I hate the sort of people Golf appeals to, with a passion, but I like dentists. I’m confused.

I know a farmer who regularly comes out cycling round here. I would hate to generalise from that, but it's not quite 'never'.But, strangely, you never see a farmer on a bike

Young Ed, I wonder what happened to him?
That would be Mattonsea, thoroughly nice chap. I and several others here spent a weekend on his farm. I've lost touch but I believe he is still dairy farming and fortunately has escaped the oppression of the supermarkets.
Own or ride?
Welcome news if the latter. Some of them are all too bloody lethal in motorised vehicles, being self-powered might derisk them a bit.
