This made me laugh a little:
http://uk.news.yahoo.com/5/20100915/tuk-banned-nun-ad-to-be-shown-on-pope-s-45dbed5.html

If the Pope cant take a little joke or some critique then he'd be in the wrong job. Only 10 people complained, it reminded me of a bus ad we had down here saying "theres probably no god" - the ASA forced them to change it. Its daft really, shouldnt the billboards on the front of churches be classed as an ad too? I mean I'm always seeing them with "JESUS LIVES!" and "GOD SAVES!"

...perhaps the ASA would like to take a complaint on the ground that they have no proof of any such occurring.

As an aside I once had a work mate who had a phobia of Nuns. One came into our restaurant a few years back and it was like road runner, couldnt see her for dust!

do you know what advert i find a bit shocking... the mikado one (is that what they're called?)... the one where the girl is photocopying her fanny by accidently falling on the machine as a bloke walks through the door.

is it me??? or should this really not be aired before the watershed??? no matter how you look at it, whether she has knickers on or not, she IS photocopying her fanny. how can that be suitable for children??

Actually yes, I agree. I have thought that one a little pervy tbh.

The bank one where they're "teaching" the kids about money kind of gets me too. Load of b*ll*cks I often find myself shouting at the telly.

I can't understand why that one is banned, but the absolutely disgusting Orangina one with the pole dancing animals is allowed to be shown. I hate it, and I did in fact complain about it because I'm a nosy old busy body with nothing better to do.

See my response in the Bee thread. Humans are just stupid, end of.
