Bar Bags

I have recently tried to fix two different bar bags to my Dawes Super Galaxy. Both had fixings which would not go round the handlebar correctly and would not allow me to connect them up. The handlebar thickens near the stem of the bike and its this that seems to be the problem.

Anyone fitted a bar bag to a 2007 super galaxy and can recommend one that fits?

There are oversize fittings available for any bag that uses the Klick fix fitting;

Vaude and Carradice are two that use this fitting, there's many others.

Thats brill, and cheap! Just need to make sure its the right fitting for the bag I have before I return it to Wiggle.

I have a carradice overlander bag on my Galaxy...I asked for wider fittings which they sent but in th eend it did not need them as it fitted fine anyway
