Ergon GP2's here - superb grips and riding on the 'horns' does make for easier climbing.
If you are going to add to existing grips, then you don't need massive long bars, just something that allows you to alter your grip perpendicular to the normal bar grips. Giant Contact Ergo's are much cheaper and similar to the Cane Creeks above, but only 15quidish)
Well worth while.

Cheers for that the only thing is will I have to change the grips as they have what I call a palm rest. Looking at it can't see how they will fit on it.

Depends on how the fit on the end of the bar,where you will be attaching the new bar ends. I took a Stanley knife to mine as I needed a couple of mm to attach them,which I didn't have. Measured twice - cut once!
