Bar Tape recommendations

I need some new bar tape as the one that came with my bike is getting thin and unravelling itself. Can you guys help me find some good quality tape. (Evans Cycles only as it's fairly near to me and need it today)

I like the Bontrager stuff. Non-adhesive though so you have to get it tight or it slips around. Only used Cinelli cork the once - hated it.

I used THIS on one of my bikes. It's not cheap but it is very good, especially going into winter as well

EVANS do it as well although as usual you will pay a tad more than online. Probably worth ringing Evans at the Chill Factor or city centre first, I tend to find they don't generally have what I want when I go, "We can order it for you Sir", but I need it today, grrrr!

Fizik Microtex is by far the best tape I've ever used. If you want extra padding there's also the Fizik Dual.

I like the Bontrager stuff. Non-adhesive though so you have to get it tight or it slips around. Only used Cinelli cork the once - hated it.

I got the Bontrager stuff recently (adhesive though), it was well priced on ribble thats the thing that really drew to it 500, miles later it seems good stuff

Cinelli Cork or Gel-Cork if you want "typical" bartape. Fizik Microtex if you wanted something different, not much padding though, but I tend to wrap it nice and tight over a strip of cork or gel tape placed lengthwise along the drops, hood and tops. Cant tell the cork or gel tape is under it, but its more comfy.

FWIW the stock tape on my CAAD is very very good*. I don't know what it is as I can't see any branding on it, even when I swopped the bars and re-taped there was nothing to see at all.

It's very nicely padded without being too thick and very grippy too.

Specialized Tape, grippy, but not sticky and with the "Bar phat" gel helps reduce vibration.

oooohhhh!!!! I've just taken red tape off after barely a month. It gets shabbier faster than white.
