Since I got my Wahl I haven't visited the barber. Set it to no 1 and away you go. Perfect for the folically challenged like myself. Think of the money saved! I've always thought it strange to sit there for twenty mins while the barber makes boring smalltalk about his cat's boils or whatever.

My barber's a cyclist. The smalltalk is about bikes.

I bought my Wahl clippers from Boots 2 years ago, used at zero once a fortnight. I can't say it saved me any money as up until then my hair was looked after by my best pal, free of charge since we left school.
