We had a local company do our old bathroom (and will use them again when we are ready to do our new one). They were really good, helpful and gave advice about what would fit etc. We ended up going for some kind of flooring that clipped together that didn't cause any problems - it seemed like a plastic laminate floor - you could get wood or stone look to it.
As far as I know if you end up leaving taps and drains etc in the same place it is the easiest/cheapest option. We did move a radiator and changed it to a towel rail which I liked.
I quite liked the tiles we chose apart from the detail line that I had put in. It was rougher in texture ... which I thought would be nice and I did like the look, but it seemed to be harder to clean and changed colour slightly.
