My wife had had her ebike, from new, for over 4 years old and it works hard. Puts a lot of miles in.
The battery has become a bit hormonal recently
Questions about recent changes in range trends and so on meet with little response

Any recommendations for getting it checked and serviced.

I've searched the internet for the battery rating and the bike brand (Go Outdoors)
No real clues so since I know the box will contain a number of cells wired together. So, I'm looking for someone reliable to check it and service as appropriate.

WHich motor and battery makes is it?
and how many miles?

Mine is a Bosch and has doen over 10,000 miles and has not dropped mileage much at all

but the previous ebike dropped quite abit over time
I did get it "recelled" but the bloke who did it was getting old and pretty much stopped over lockdown

Anyone else found someone who can do it and is reliable - I have a battery from our folder which needs looking at as well

It's a pre lock down bike from GoOutdoors. No idea about, mileage, charges whatever. But at 50km a week over 5 years comes up to more than 10k km.
I'm putting off opening the pack and looking at re-celling myself. But it might come to that.

Im North of 10k on my Carrera and the battery is as good as ever.

Many of the re cell'ers won't touch batteries with a BMS built in, so you might be in for a bit of an email session.

Check for the price of a new one
sometimes it is not much more and you can get ones with more capacity

worth checking anyway

Actually finding a replacement battery is harder than I expected
Hence going for the refurbishment route.
Assume a newer battery would be better. Technology has moved on over the last 5 years.
