Not at the moment - the main drags are all clear and running smoothly. Lovely Wife has been to Arnside this morning and all is fine there.
It's just us country bumpkins whose roads never get gritted that are having issues.

I remember that as being onTuesday 27/02/01.
This being south east Scotland rather than south east England it never got a mention on the news. It was so windy that all my windows on all sides of the house were covered in snow, I had to open the back door to see what was happening outside. There was about 14" in Gala as well, although it was hard to measure the depth due to the drifting. There was considerably more in Hawick. Photo below was taken on the following Saturday on the A7. This was two days after it had reopened and was officially passable with care, the care being much needed due to the variable road width, some sections being effectively single track.
