Well, I haven't seen that before. Mind staggeringly numb arguments there by the half wit couple.

Yep, but hauntingly familiar too? Refusal to accept responsibility for their own actions causing harm to a cyclist because the other guy was a cyclist, and whats a cyclist doing on the road. The bit at the end where the woman tries to argue that its not their fault because if she had pulled out in her car in front of the cyclist that wouldn't be all her fault... Well, I guess many of us have encountered similar things

The telling bit is when the couple start off by arguing that he was 45 miles from his home, there are X many miles of cycle paths in the state so why was he riding along the rode past my house?

They quite clearly have no conception of the law, or cycling or common sense. In fact people like that shouldn't be allowed out unsupervised...

My black lab puppy has taken someone off a bike, no collision though, the guy was startled by him running out of a bush and lost control. Luckily he didn't have a five grand bike and was unhurt.

Trying to get him used to bikes now by taking him out with me cycling, he doesn't seem to understand that in front of wheels=ouch.

This is a similar reason to why I've recently ordered a helmet, commuting most of the way through rural Hertfordshire, I'm constantly on the lookout for rabbits and badgers flying into my path.

Typical bloody car driver argument.

Some people need to open their eyes esp. cardrivers -they just reckon they are the only things on the road.

Still, at least the bloke got his cash.

I had seen it before but it was good to see it again, if she does back out of her drive and hit a cyclist she had better hope Judge Judy doesn't get the case!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My dad was once knocked off his bike by a dog, some dogs simply do attack cyclists and some owners just let them. My dad wasn't wearing a helmet and didn't bang his head, though his elbow was sore for months.
