Not sure why though?

It started about 3 weeks ago, and felt a bit like riding through treacle a couple of times on the commute.
More recently though, my HR has gone up slightly and my times have crept up.
Only fractionally, but I've been watching a nice steady drop in both since before Christmas so it's a little disheartening for this to be happening and I'm not sure why.
The commute has also felt tougher.
BTW, it's not something obvious like flat tyres or a stiff chain, I've checked all those :blush:

Any thoughts?

Check your RHR when you wake up. If up more than 10% on your normal, then there's yet answer.

Overtraining.

Been doing more lately? Or as much with less rest?
 
Are you eating properly?
I find when I eat less than normal, even though I don't bonk as its only an hour each way, I feel a little off edge so to speak

Thanks guys, sadly it's not undereating (I wish) or overtraining (I wish) :biggrin:



I'll check my RHR then, maybe it is just a virus.
