Fair weathered, fair minded but easily persuaded.
Fantastic day in good company with lovely weather and scenery.

Thank you to Andre @sotkayak and @User10571 for the great traffic free route out of the city, a real find and one I will certainly use again.

Thanks to @HertzvanRental for his route from Stodmarsh through to Ash, to Mrs HVR for grabbing our lunch table and fending off invaders until we arrived and thanks to everyone who took part. Hope you enjoyed the 36 miles of Kentish lanes to the beach.

All of it.

No seriously the ride was great and bearing in mind my health I am pleased to know that my fitness and stamina is certainly returning.

Just back from the North Kent Coast (Via friends in Sydenham to pick up my Welsh Dragons).
Thanks, Dawn, for organising this ride.
It was lovely to see bits of Kent I hadn't seen before - don't think I've ever been to Deal - fave part of the ride for me was in the area of the Sandwich golf courses.
Great to meet some new people - as well as a couple of known ones.
Overdid it in the sun a bit - I have very red arms  Will never learn?
If you ever do this ride again, Dawn, count me in.

ETA - Lunch in Sandwich BTW, looks (as has been mentioned) awesome.

Console yourself in the certain knowledge that you overdid it in the sun less than I did last Sunday. The dressings on my legs only came off today.....in time for a week's leave, fortunately!

Glad a good day was had by all.
