Just finishing off a Stroud Brewery LOL lager in the Trooper beer glass my son got me (along with 12 bottles of Trooper beer, which is lovely).

Got another can of Stroud in the fridge, to be followed by a couple of Brew Dog Lost lagers.

All highly recommended.

A 7.8% Imperial IPA from Lidl for £1.99.

Not quite upto the standards of similar offerings for two or three times the price, but still excellent value.

I've gone to extra lengths to raise the quality here after that disastrous and unforgiveable glass above...

Cantillon. My lad's 18th birthday present. He's 22 today, so we've given if a few years to mature 😍 Poured from a Cantillon pouring basket he brought back from the brewery for me, after taking it halfway round Europe while interrailing.

I'm sure that I've posted this one before, another Lidl bargain which reminds me of a Lagunitas, a lovely bitter taste to it.

its cheap, it’s local and it tastes pretty good… nuff said, I’m gonna make it go away.

I'm not a big lager drinker but this Anspach& Hobday Helles is rather quaffable.
