only had the quad La Trappe and didnt rate it that much for a 10% beer so it cant have been good
and Ive got the 7th and 8th editions, so I might as well add the 9th to the libray, problem is I never get around to booking a holiday over there to actually use them.
A long weekend by Eurostar (if you're in UK) - it's only a couple of hours to Brussels!
(Also, if you're on the train, you can bring loads back with you)
Bruges was my favourite, though Mechelen and Antwerp were also good. Brussels just too ....much. Ghent is next on the list, though a mate is having his 60th next year and I think that'll be Antwerp or Mechelen again. Really want to go to Liege as well, there atre a few nice beers from round there (Val Dieu, and the independent brewer Brasserie {C} https://www.brasseriec.com/brasserie-c)
EDIT: Ooooh, just seen this! Now I don't have any need for cycling kit, but if I did.....
