Nice bike.

Love that spoke rack thing, shame they rattle, looking at the photo can you not tighten the nipples a little to put some tension on them?

Welcome to the SLH Trucker appreciation society! To stop the spokes rattling, just unscrew the nipple off the spoke and turn it round. When you screw it back on, the spoke will be tighter. Simpelz!

As I remember, something like £800 - the frame was the biggest chunk of that at £375 (£350 frame and fork, £25 for the LBS to supply and fit an FSA headset). Other than fitting the headset cups, cutting the fork steerer and setting the star nut, all the build was done by me.

Lovely looking bike - surprising how it all adds up isn't it, having just put my own together I know!! I found with quite a few components I had to buy a new specialised tool to fit it.

Did they have anything to do with hollowtech BBs?

Yeah - buying a new, built LHT was £899 (Wiggle) at the time I built mine - in some ways it doesn't make sense at all, although this bike is pretty much exactly the way I want it (on the built bike I'd have had to change the stem, add racks, etc etc).

I can't work out if you're just being cheeky or not!!

But if you send it back with a couple of quid to cover my postage then yes!!

I'm not sure if I can work that one out either!

That sounds great though. Shall I pm you with details and so forth?

Very nice JtM, as others have already said, it is very satisfying to build a bike up from components and a frame:thumbsup:, I know people who store spare spokes in the seat tube.
