If the RIM still seals and the tyre is seated fine, I'd be tempted to leave it alone unless it's causing a problem. You could try using bending it back using an adjustable spanner and some cloth to protect the rim, but that would depend on how worn the braking surface is, if it's approaching EOL then I wouldn't bother.
Pretty much the advice the bike shop gave me.
Said they could straighten it but I'd be more likely to feel it under braking. So to try it and see if it was noticeable under braking.
Also said these style rims are very difficult to rebuild because they're pre stressed before lacing in the factory.
Slight concerns about catastrophic failure though...
New wheel is near £300 😒
I'd chuck in a little extra and go for a set of carbon wheels - Wiggle currently have some of the Prime wheelsets discounted including the 50mm depth ones....Pretty much the advice the bike shop gave me.

That's not a pothole, that’s a trench!Just took it for a test and I can feel the bent spot during braking.
Would it just be an annoyance or would there be safety issues with it?
Went to look at the pothole and am going to attempt to claim via the council.

See if it’s been reported before via https://www.fillthathole.org.uk/Just took it for a test and I can feel the bent spot during braking.

Don’t think you’ll have a case if council not previously aware unfortunatelyUnfortunately hasn't so not sure if that will lead to any claim being rejected.
On advice I tried to measure it today, hard to do as it's a busy road.
