I put a set of 26 x 2.125" Big Apples on the mtb I have been working on. I sudden'y feel inadequate after seeing the size of the wheels on these bikes:cry:
 
Fat tyres are epic^_^

They get you out and about in conditions and areas that you wouldn't normally ride in or on

The top "Fat" tyre is the front of an On One Fatty, this is a fantastic trail bike, but for sand and snow I find the larger 4.8" on a 100mm wide rim by far the best option.

I'm upgrading soon to a 4.8" front and back tyred Titanium beast on 100mm rims ready for the summer.
