Which type of 700 x 25 clincher tyre is the best compromise between rolling resistance and puncture resistance? I'm looking for something that rolls a bit faster than my gatorskins.

GP4000s ... or a Michelin pro 4
I have had them both and they roll nicely ,Thought I prefer the GP4000s for all round puncture protection.

Same here. Have Specialized S-Works Turbo on my best bike moved to Wintee bike yesterday and was amazed at how the Conti's performed again. Think I am about to move them into my new Christmas wheels.

I like and use tyres from the Michelin Pro4 range, I think they're great. I've used the Service Course and Endurance and find the latter a bit more hard wearing.

I used Gatorskins for a couple of thousand miles, I don't think you can say they don't 'roll' well but they sure do skid and slide very easily, which is why I got rid of them.
