What's dirty food?
and never got an answer.

If clean means fresh or whole grains or not greasy or whatever, then I'm on board with the phrase. But the OP said it's means "not dirty". In the absence of a different definition, I have to think it means literally dirty. Mentioning that food in a short review is not dirty implies to me the expectation that it might be.

But again, if someone let's me know what dirty food is, I am happy to retract.

(also, I am not Jeff, or jef for that matter)
 
I thought clean with regards to food production meant unprocessed. I would assume the opposite to mean heavily processed.

The Indian Sweetmarts use the word 'Pure' in their description as in 'Pure Vegetarian'
