As an aside when our then young nephews were staying I put the film on as a bit of good fun entertainment and they were rather dismayed by it being subtitled and seemed rather bored by it, but after about 20 minutes they were engrossed and laughing at the gags and stunts

I watched Ventoux a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Four guys, as young men, climbed Mont Ventoux. Years and years later as middle aged men they decide to do it all again!

There are flashbacks to the original climb and a bit of a story develops. It was also a very good book I believe, though haven't read it.
