I cycle in the same way through and would go over tower bridge Rather than London bridge.
Mandatory 20mph speed limit which everyone adheres to due to instant points if you go over.
Plus after the bridge you get a good collection of other riders to help keep cars off your back as you transition into one of the other lanes.
