Bianchi Oltre xr1 size help...

i am thinking of getting one of these but there are no local shops to swing me leg over one to find a size.

i an 6ft with 33 inside leg but the bianchi chart is a bit confusing....

i normally ride a 56 top tube in a cannondale or m/l giant tcr

so do i need a 57 or a 59 tricky

anyone ride an oltre xr1 ?

I ride a Sempre, which has an almost identical geometry to the Oltre - and they ride almost identically. I am 1.80, which I think is just short of 6 feet in the days of empire, and the 57 is perfect for me. I can even get on OK with a 55, but the 57 is definitely better.
What groupset are you going for? The Veloce model has the better gear set, but you get an FSA chainset with a fairly crappy BB30 bottom bracket. I love Campagnolo, but at the cheaper end of the range the Shimano bottom bracket is superior.

Some amazing bargains in the 2015 editions of this bike at present. Superb frame and handling.

got the 57 coming today bought the veloce moel for £1500 new but just bought di2 ultegra groupset for it

waiting for the courier now come on........

Nice, but you have quite a lot of work to do downgrading to Shimano! It won't leave a lot, and the Shimano options are usually much cheaper.

downgrading nice... sorry but i dislike campag its just one of those things. a man with very short thumbs designed it for sure. electronic shimano is the way for me
