Biggest BSA ever!

I'm not sure if anyone will be interested in this posting, but I thought members might like to see this beastie.

The machine is a 1924 BSA All Weather roadster. The frame size is 30 inches. The only history I know, is it belonged to a 6ft 10in Policeman based on the Isle of Wight. Stand over height is 44", inside leg 39".

It'll need a bit of fettling to get it up & running.

What frame size is it? It's hard to tell without any reference points. Might just be small wheels!

Not really. I've a 20cm pump and another twice the size

The saddle's not horizontal.

26+ inch frame sizes where not uncommon back then. Remember too that people weren't as tall as we are today. I wonder what bright spark came along and worked out it would be easier if you could stand astride the frame.

What vintage is that? 1930's?

Slightly ironic, I've seen machine before. I think it was bought by someone in Brighton. All the fittings/features suggest a build date of Pre-1910. I think the frame size was 28 inches.
