Well not only is this an old thread.
But for some reason it never got a single reply.
But very much on topic as I was searching for something, so I'll bite, almost two years late.
Yes I love it. Gives the freedom to maximise distances and not worry too much about where you will kip - lots of opportunities that would not be suitable for a tent.
Last Sunday, heading for Norfolk after the Dynamo, I kipped here.

The line of trees on the small farm track to the right of the streetview.
Slept like a log. All snug.

Me and GF are going to give this a go in Northumbria , August or September , weather permitting ,
