Might have been asked before but does anyone have any recommendations for a good bike cleaner for a multi finish carbon frame. Seen plenty for Matt and gloss and raw carbon finishes but mine has a gloss paint over matt so streaks on the matt sections if i use any type of cream polish or mucoff.

I just cleaned my Matt finish Bianchi for the first time earlier. I used Muc-Off Nd had no streaky issues.

Doesn't happen every time for some reason but sometimes I get a water Mark on the odd spot on the matt sections but as it's slightly rough you can't just Polish it off like the gloss paint.

Mr Sheen works on everything. Lint free cloths for no fibres left behind

The paint and lacquer finishes on most decent bikes is chemically quite similar to the polyurethane used in many furniture finishes, hence Mr Sheen working quite well.

Mr Sheen or supermarket own brand furniture polish contains an emulsion of carnauba wax, which gives a good shine without too much effort. It does improve the look of a matt black frame and makes water bead up and run off. Without it, matt black can end up looking a bit patchy especially if you've made the mistake of cleaning it with something containing a fine abrasive, which tends to get trapped on the paint leaving white marks.

I always follow up with some sort of protection. If you clean all the crap off, then you need to protect afterwards. Same goes, no matter what item we are talking about.
