Is this the bit where everyone has shock and horror about what goes into a McDonalds burger yet happily eats a sausage form the local cafe made using the same, if not worse, cuts of meat?

Nope. For the proper butchers in the next village.

I'm not fussed what goes into it. Its the stodt, textureless experience that does it for me.

Still, have they no sense of irony? Healthy? Sustainable?

@Gravity Aided: I'm not a mcdonalds regular, but it doesn't look like a McDouble is on the UK menu.

I have taken my bike into a McDonalds, and pleased to do at 3am. At that time, even the burger was tasty.

Off topic: In Australia, they serve macaroons in Maccas. And you know, they aren't bad.

A McDouble is pretty much a Big Mac without the central (double cut) bun, or two of McDonalds original hamburgers on one bun. I remember when a McDonalds hamburger was 25 cents.

I think the McDouble is about 1.25 American. I've heard they lose money on it. They're okay. I eat one now and again. If you want the best in burgers in the US, go to Red Robin. You'll pay more,(lots more) but it's worth more.
