A quick update - I wrote to the MD last week & received an e-mail from him today offering the full refund that I'd asked for. So it looks like I'm going to get a satisfactory result.

To be fair to the guy he's responded quickly (he said my letter only landed on his desk today) and he'd made the effort to find my e-mail address from the order details as I didn't include it in my letter. He's only been involved at Swytch since December (so after I ordered) which I knew from a press article and from the Companies House listing. He's clearly aware of problems and says that he's already changed the order process so they may have a better process going forward.

If I get my money back I'll be content.

I'm still in the process of returning the kit to get my money back. The MD is great, to be fair. In the meantime I've received an automated e-mail asking me to rate the support I've received - "good" or "bad". Hmm, I think I need to think about that one!
