Bike hire (Worth doing) in Fuerteventura ?

Me and the wife are off for a cheap week of late Winter sun in the Canary Isles in a couple of weeks; as above.

Anything good to see / good to get to
by bike ? Anything that’s only really possible by bike etc ? We love a bit of exploring. And if we can do this on 2-wheels then all the better 😎

Any thoughts welcomed.

It depends on which island you are going to - and how strong you are. Lanzarote is probably the best island for easier cycling although it is by no means flat. Gran Canaria and Tenerife are popular with pro teams for winter training and the rides involve significant amounts of uphill. Fuerteventura has some good off road trails but the roads are limited in scope. Its OK but less good than Lanzarote. The other islands are smaller but make up for it in hilliness. Hope this helps....

Thanks very much for your thoughts. We’re off to Fuerteventura: as per the title 👍

We’ve (luckily) found one of not too many hire shops on the island; happens to be pretty close to our Villa. And have a few things planned to see / visit via the MTB’s we’ll be hiring for the day.

Can’t wait to do some cycling with the sun on my b̶a̶l̶d̶ ̶h̶e̶a̶d̶ back…..😎
