Went to the London Bike Show yesterday and fell in love with a Cube Agree GTC Pro WOW..!!!
Had my heart set on a Specialized Sport Compact when the pennies had been saved, apparently Specialized do a lifetime warranty on the frame and a frame replacement scheme for £600 in case of accidents i believe ?..Cube only do a two year warranty on the bike which worries me a little..
My question is can i take out a third party insurance to cover such things as accidents to the bike itself and or is a Carbon frame not as resilient as an aluminium frame...OR should i aim for the Specialized ..OR more importantly not fall off and hope and pray the Cube carbon frame after the two year warranty is as good as they say it is...

Cheers

Canyon Aeroad CF 7.0 Di2
I have the home insurance extension with Churchill
As Fossyant says it covers accidents whilst out on the road as well as theft
Only cost me an extra £36.00/yr for both my bikes valued at £3k with accessories

As a matter of Interest Specialized also do a lifetime warrantee on their carbon frames as well.
I get a lot of comfort knowing a company stands by their products and customers alike. The support you get from specialized is great imho
