House probably but check the Ts &Cs very carefullyAny advice on the best place to get cycle insurance? Am I best to add to house contents or go for separate cover?
Many thanks.
Are you sure about that. Many, if not all, Home Contents policies will have a 'Personal Liability' cover that will cover cycling for all but racing and/or testing.I considered taking out insurance with Evans a couple of years ago, but I spoke with my house insurers and got cover for theft whether at home or not a bit cheaper. The only thing I am not covered for is 3rd party, which I think came with the policy from Evans. Be careful with the T&Cs as someone above said; the policy will probably be void if your bike isn't properly secured if and when it gets nicked.

Full accidental damage may be available as a specified item - up to agreed limits.
Check cover carefully for limits if covered for theft or accidental damage as an unspecified item under general contents as the extent of cover varies greatly from one Company to another.
As stated before, always read policy cover, terms and conditions carefully.
