The light mounted under the seat - is that where the mount is meant to go or have you made some kind of fitting for it...

Nice setup interesting to see an example like that I think I need to ditch my seat post saddle bag because it gets in the way of the light. Need to carry me spare tube and tool kit some where else

Yes thats the smaller version, mine came from CR

you could just use an old drinks bottle cut off the top then cover with a thick plastic cover and an elastic band that what i did cheap as chips

Yes look like an ordinary white torch but is in fact a very bright red one, see Here

I fastened the light clip to my saddle bag using two wide washers (1 inside, 1 outside) and a little nut and bolt through a self made hole in the clip. The light is still removable but being secured outside the bag, it's freed up the space it used to occupy inside the bag when the bike was locked up.
