Actually, me!!

I sometimes work in another location out of a hotel. Having this service frees me up having to lug the bike to/from my house to the hotel.

Pretty specific circumstances though.

I asked Virgin the question about insuring a £1500 bike.

Here's the response:

nsurance cover would cost £36.00 for that level of cover. Please note that you should ensure that your item is appropriately packaged for shipment and protected.
Bikes should be disassembled, protectively packaged and boxed for shipment. Ensure that your box is clearly labelled for it's destination.

The insurance cover option will be available at the payment page of your booking.
