Financial year innitAlways make me laugh at the "*** of the Year"
It is April- yep APRIL
Month 4
Less than a third of the way through the year
How can anyone even pretend that this is the "Bike of theYear" when there are still 8 months of releases to come?
Good grief, I've just heard this news from P-R. Apparently the gubbins they used to make the really stiff frame flexible was too flexible for one guy so they had to invent another gubbins to replace the first gubbins to make it stiff again. In the confusion they didn't fit the properly engineered gubbins but a prototype gubbins which broke, so the poor guy's steerer came apart and he fell off and got an owie and couldn't finish his bike ride. They've spent so much time and effort making bikes as stiff as they can, that they've had to think up some special gubbins to make them flexible again.
It's a road bike with disc brakes, it's lower than a snake's goolies in my estimation.
Not a road bike. You've got a short memory....
Who was going to buy the Cervelo P5x ?![]()
Not a road bike.
Very true, but my objection is being involved in a pile up, in a ( relatively) large group, caused by the disparity in braking effectiveness of a mixed bunch of disc and rim braked bikes. To be pedantic that P5x is actually a tri bike anyway.Ah but a TT bike with discs is even worse. There is no need for that power of braking.![]()
