Seeing as decent rim brakes can lock the wheels wet or dry anyway, any disparity in braking will be down to the level of grip twixt tyres and road, although having your Specialized handlebars fall off won't help.
I'm pretty sure pro riders will be aware of how their brakes work and will be able to modulate their braking to match the bunch.

Went into my LBS this morning, they told me Specialized have sold every single Roubaix they made this year, no more due until July time. I think it is a lovely looking bike

Unless there's an emergency stop, then it all goes a bit wrong. Pro's can do what they want, I'd be more concerned about mixed braking tech in a chopper fest Sportive environment.

I lost interest in that video about two minutes in. I won't be buying a new Roubaix, simply because I can't see how i will be able to fit my winter mudguards.
