Apologies if this organisation are already on the map. I recently bought a Cannondale R500 from them at their premises in Eyemouth, it was well fettled apart from a tiny bit of play in the headset which was a two minute fix.

There is a charity called "Wheels for All" that fixes and rents out bikes for disabled people
It is based in Warrington - Victoria Park

They - or a similar one - used to operate in Victoria Park in Widnes - don;t if they are still there or not

In Chester you can hire an adapted bike to go round part of the Millennium Path (the old Mickle Trafford to Shotton railway) line. There are a side-by-side tandems, tricycles (for children and adults), a wheelchair bike (you don't need to get out of your own chair to use it) as well as hand bikes and two wheelers...

Action 21 is a general recycle and re-use charity in Leamington Spa that incorporates a bike workshop that repairs and sells donated bikes. Money raised from sales is used to provide free bikes to people who need them.

And long may they continue. The customers we get wouldn't be able to continue cycling without these places offering cheap bikes and cheap repairs. We're no threat in our town to any of the local bike shops. Our customers simply don't have that sort of money.
