Nice idea for marketing the paths. I notice that the Portobello promenade is shown a s a route with 'dismount if necessary' Has this long running bone of contention been resolved then? I know there was a legal argument over the no cycling signs.

I find that really quite confusing! I take it the black line, "Haymarket - Sliverknowes", is the path on the old railway line that goes all the way out to Crammond Brig? I know there are a couple of road sections after Sliverknowes, but they're not exactly busy roads. It is a bit odd that they don't even indicate that the continuation is possible.

They have also omitted the hazards around Pilton of neds dropping stones/branches/bottles/each other from the bridges above the path!

Not knowing Edinbrugh, I think this is an interesting idea, however the most glaring issue is how the lines don't join up!

It makes it vary obvious that the local council need to do something about connecting the lines

I'd be interested to see a London version of this map

Looks a lot better than the map of the London Cycle Network which is nearly impossible to follow.
