A lot of insurance companies will not pay up if a bike is stolen from a wooden outbuilding ... (Typical copout, since most brick/concrete/stone buildings have wooden doors.)

My insurance is ok as long as the bikes cant be seen..........and thats the cunning plan

You cover them with a tarpaulin upon which are printed the words "No bikes left in this shed overnight"!
