Having a few days off in Bristol and popped into the shop I used to manage in Park St. It's now a 'Specialized concept store' and Oh my God it's fricking awesome, possibly the best looking shop I've ever visited (after the Edinburgh Edinburgh CoOp).

I say 'a few days off', She has persuaded me to install a new bathroom suite. Sigh.

Wot's a "Specialised Concept Store" ? A "shop for narrow ideas" by any chance? ;)

As for the bathroom suit - rip out the old one and then find a "big problem which will take a long time to fix" and which requires time out on the bike "thinking". If you takes long enough you'll never need to do any DIY again as "the lack of washing facilities" on that last job will never be forgotten

I've been in twice looking at the saddles - there is a lot more stock in there than when I was in there a month or two ago. It was also very busy too. Unfortunately the first guy didn't give me the best advice on the saddle (had to leave quickly as my youngest required a toilet quickly ) so I went back the following day and was given different advice by a girl about riding position and saddle width, that I had specifically asked about the previous day.

I wouldn't mind having an Edinburgh Bike Co-op in Bristol though.
