Today has not been a good day. My house in Heysham has been broken into and thieves have stolen my Ribble Sportive 365, my dads Specialized Transition TT bike, and my mums Bianchi. Please share this post and keep an eye out for these bikes!! Furious isn't the word.
If a description helps: My Ribble has lots of stickers on it (COLT, Team Pie, Outlaw), the Bianchi has Mavic Cosmic wheels (and is matt instead of glossy) and the TT has a red sticker on the seat post and unusual Roval wheels (with a weird spoke thing in the middle-see photo)

Gutted for you, ive had bike's stolen and it's not a nice thing to go though, i know it doesn't bring the bike's back but you maybe able to claim on the house insurance for replacement's, Also keep looking on gumtree and ebay as the thieve's will have to sell them one way.

Thanks. It's good friends not me, but it could have been me as we live near each other. It makes me so angry. They didn't just take the bikes but ransacked the house.

Keep an eye on the local paper as well. Many will say cash convertors will buy them. Possible, but if they're made aware there are stolen bikes, then you may be lucky. Local one kept the person talking until the police turned up.
Worth keeping an eye on, if there's one local to you.

Did the police send anyone out to inspect? If this is a gang that's causing trouble locally they might try for forensic evidence. This happened to us (no bikes involved) and they got the guy with DNA as he was already a miscreant logged on police files. We were surprised but pleased - he went down.
