Is anyone else's work celebrating/doing anything to promote National Bike to Work week?

Yep, free breakfast (I won't bother since I don't eat breakfast at work). Free t-shirt (goes in the pile of t-shirts that get used for cycling, football, badminton, etc) which then get used as rags for bike maintenance when they get old and scraggy.

We're also doing the TFL London Workplace Cycle Challenge thing for the whole of June...

We'll be at/outside the Bean Tin opposite Manchester Museum on Oxford Road (Man Uni's University Place refectory).

I've met JTM and Sharky before, so look out for a guy on a red and black fixed, red top, red/black shoes, red/black rucksack......red/black helmet.....oh dear need I say more - spot the tart..........

Well Bristol City Council are running a Bike Breakfast next Wednesday and normally I can't go - cos have to go from school to work but for once Mr Summerdays is doing the school run that day, as I have to be in early so I will be able to pop to College Green.

There is also the Jam Busting June Diary/League tables and currently I am in the group at the top of the table with max points - yeah!!!

Is anyone around the Huntingdon area? Free Breakfast and tea/coffee at the Farmers Market on the 12th June to bike to work cyclists before 10am.

Nothing special for us - but then we both cycle in anyway, and publish a cycling magazine, so we're already pretty hard core...

(yesterday, I was using the saddle of a Gocycle as a post table, as it was leaned up against the franking machine)

Next week will be a combination of 'off to the printer's deadline proofreading' and getting ready for our regular stand at the York CTC Rally.

Not sure what's being served in the centre......, but just about anything you fancy at the Bean Tin.

Join Sharky for a slow ride, and it is slow. The Cheadle bit to Uni's takes me no more than 20 minutes maximum....on the BTW it takes oh...40....... ..but we do find some nice scenic back roads, which I never knew were there....
