Bike Withdrawal

I recently got burgled and the little scrotes took my bike.

I'm having serious bike withdrawal. This weekend would've been a great one for a bike ride; alas, I mainly moped around the house, irritating my girlfriend by crying "I'm bored" or "I wish I had a bike". The real fly in the ointment is that I haven't been able to find full-time work for a while so I don't have any money coming in. Since the bike that was knicked was about 7 or 8 years old, I'm worried that, if the insurance company can't source a replacement, I won't even get enough cash to cover the cost of a new bike.

I was like a bear with a sore head on Friday - and that was the first day without a bike. Cables now sorted, bunny a lot happier, and commuting by bike tomorrow.

Joking aside, I can sympathise completely. I'd be lost without a bike.
