I'm quite satisfied with the bike I've got and I have no intention of buying another, (at least for many months).
I don't need any parts apart from tubes and tires.
I do, however, spend many happy hours looking at bikes for sale (new and second hand) and bike parts, mainly on the internet.
I enjoy window shopping and have spent a lot of imaginary cash and dreamed a lot.
I say to the missus," Ooh, that would be nice to celebrate my 70th birthday next year".
To which I normally get a short," Oh yeah." and an 'Am I interested?' look on her face.:headshake:
Anybody else like window shopping?

its the best kind of shopping there is - you get to spend loads of money without ever getting your visa out

Yup, I drive the missus mental with showing her loads of bikes. "that's the same as the last one" etc... I showed her @BigonaBianchi 's beautiful celestial green bike and where I could buy a similar one from, her response was "why would you want a peppermint green bike?".

I always go through websites and look at tons of stuff that I don't need as well and have no intention of buying but it is fun..

Gotta love it, and of course the internet makes it that much easier. In spite of not having ridden for 6 weeks, and being pretty much laid up, I'm still looking for my next Summer bike^_^
Whilst SWMBO is, erm, struggling with this, I have reminded her that the correct number of bikes to own is the same as the correct number of jumpers to own (in the female mind), and you can only wear 1 of those at a time...

Last time I went into a bike shop at lunchtime (with the intention of just having a look) I came out 500 quid poorer

Far better to only go in, if you have a specific thing to buy. Cheaper that way!

Really, not even internet browsing as Biker Joe suggests. I thought all bikers loved drooling over bike bits, I know I do. Bike porn innit

Nope, it is tedius. I usually wait until I really need something badly, then locate and buy it as quickly as possible. When it comes to situations where I need to shop around and make choices or really do research, I really get the hump, I hate it!

I hate shops, but don't mind having the odd look round on the web/ebay.

Bloody frightening the price of 20 year old Dura Ace 7400 parts (good job I don't need any).

I've currently got time on my hands (recovering from surgery), and the times I've hit 'buy' the last month. Spent probably £200 easily ! Even went out to Decathlon for brake cables and bar grips today, and ordered new frame decals. Not that I can ride the bike. The MTB is going to look fab for an old bird though !
